LeenBaby stores baby photos and profile data on your device. We only collect limited anonymous usage analytics to improve app quality and reliability.

Overview

LeenBaby ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and your children's privacy. This privacy policy explains our practices regarding data in the LeenBaby mobile application.

Privacy-First Storage

LeenBaby stores your baby profiles, photos, and notes locally on your device. We do not provide cloud sync for this content. To improve app quality, we collect limited anonymous usage analytics.

Information We Store Locally

The following information is stored on your device only:

  • Baby names and birth dates
  • Photos you take within the app
  • Photo captions and notes
  • Location data (if you grant permission)
  • Milestone viewing history
  • App settings and preferences

This data is stored in your device's secure local storage and is protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, etc.).

Permissions We Request

Camera Access

We request camera permission to allow you to take daily photos of your baby. These photos are saved to your device's local storage and optionally to your photo library.

Photo Library Access

We request photo library permission to save copies of your baby photos to your device's photo library for backup purposes.

Location Access (Optional)

If granted, we use location services to tag where photos were taken. This information is stored locally with the photo and never transmitted.

Data Security

Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features. We recommend:

  • Keeping your device's operating system updated
  • Using a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID
  • Regularly backing up your device

Analytics & Diagnostics

We collect anonymous usage analytics to understand how features are used and to improve app quality. We do not collect baby names, photos, captions, or personal notes for analytics.

Data Requests and Deletion

LeenBaby does not require user accounts, so we usually cannot map anonymous analytics records to a specific person. Identity-based deletion requests may not be possible unless you provide the anonymous installation identifier. Uninstalling the app stops future event collection from that installation.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

LeenBaby is designed with children's privacy in mind. We do not collect children's photos or profile content to our servers. Limited anonymous analytics may be collected from the parent or guardian device to improve app quality.
